Radhika's Diaries

Looking for a humor blog? You've come to the right place!

Dear Trump Sir,

Myself Kamalamma from Karnataka, India.

I am thinking to write letter to you from past many days, but what to do? The Mister is not allowing. He thinks big men like you will not bother to read letter from small people like me, and anyway you are only big fan of Twitter it seems!

But I will not relax until I tell you whatever I want to tell. Women are like that only! So I have given The Mister one full glass of hot milk with turmeric and put him to sleep. Now I can sit and write without him breathing down my neck.

Why I am writing letter is to tell you that I am with you. You have full support of this Kamalamma who is sitting in opposite side of the world.

Support for what? For whatever you do!

See, you are not ordinary man no! You are big leader of Super Nation; your country is God’s gift to the world.

So you know best – whether to wear mask or not to wear. When to wear. How to wear. Why to wear. Why NOT to wear.

It is so simple. Why people are not understanding this I don’t know!

Every morning when I am opening front door 1st thing I am seeing is your face on my doormat. After picking up newspaper and reading main headlines, afterwards only I am checking if milk man has kept correct number of milk packets inside the bag and all.

And what is the headlines? One day – “Trump is not wearing mask!” Another day – “Trump is wearing mask!” Full this only. Abbabba!

People are not having any other work or what?  World is facing so many big problems but all that is pushed to inside page of newspaper and main news is whether today there is mask or no mask!

Why they are not letting you to rest live in peace? You have so much things to see and take decisions about – like what should be height of your Mexico wall? Or whom to remove from Oval today? Or which type of visa you should cancel today?

In the middle of all this one silly issue of mask!

In my ordinary home every room is having 2 or 3 masks hanging from nail. Then I am shouting to The Mister from bedroom, where is mask hanging behind bedroom door and he is shouting back, Oho that is your mask? I am thinking it is mine…now I am wearing it.

Tchah… so much confusion. I cannot imagine how you manage in White House with so many rooms!

If I am to tell whole truth even I am not liking this mask business. With mask on can’t make out who is smiling and who is giving gaali. And nobody can understand what we are talking also. It is like those kidnappers in Bollywood picture who are covering their mouth with kerchief while asking for ransom. Can’t make out whose son they have kidnapped or how many crores they are asking!

Like that only when you are wearing mask and giving order to cancel H1N1 visa or something, foreign people are confused and they are not knowing if they can stay or have to pack their bags.

But our country is not free country like yours. If someone is going outside without mask in India, policeman is appearing from somewhere and chasing them up and down the street and beating them black and blue. Don’t know what to be afraid of more – virus or police!

But you are big and powerful country. You are not cowards to be afraid of one invisible virus no!

I don’t know who is winning in next election, but 100% next Hollywood movie is about you. Like Superman, Batman and all you will chase away the virus and also the aliens who are entering your country with H1N1 visa.

But only one thing I have to tell you – all such heroes have special costume which comes with mask!

I will end letter here leaving you to think about that.

Yours sincerely,
Kamalamma.

PS – The Mister is pointing out that visa is H-1B and H1N1 is some old virus! Okay, good that he woke up in time to make correction, but next time I must remember to increase his dosage of turmeric milk!
