Radhika's Diaries

Looking for a humor blog? You've come to the right place!

On popular request (all of 2 actually, from both my sons!! πŸ™‚ ) I’m posting my article which was published in The City Times, the Saturday Magazine section of The Khaleej Times, the National newspaper of The UAE.

The people over at Khaleej Times very kindly gave it a beautiful backdrop as you can see below. πŸ™‚

  3. Hey that’s awesome. I was struggling to read it in the paper cutting and then was glad to see the link. πŸ™‚ Have never been to Dubai. It’s my son’s dream to see the tall handsome structure there (as you described) . One of my very good friends lives in Abu Dhabi too. So it’s a long pending visit.

    1. Dubai has to be visited to see how a desert was converted into a beautiful modern city.
      Do come! 😊

I share the same sentiment Radhika. Having spent 7.5years in Sharjah and having worked in Dubai, I have a very emotional connection with the country.
Dubai is a symbol of strength in many respect. So is Sharjah and Abu Dhabi.
A good post that made me nostalgic. Thanks for sharing.
